Why we exist

Three questions decide whether a chip order works, and none of them is on a normal quote.

**Where does the weight come from?** A compression-moulded composite weighs what it weighs because of the material. An injection-moulded ABS chip gets its heft from a metal slug laminated inside. Both are legitimate; they sound different, age differently and cost differently — and most suppliers will not tell you which one they are quoting. Ours names it.

**Where does the print sit?** Art applied proud of the surface is scrubbed off by a few months of stacking and sliding. A recessed inlay sits below the rim under laminate, so play lands on the rim; ceramic dye sits in the surface itself; a hot stamp is pressed into the face. The construction decides whether the set fades.

**Can the values be told apart from the side?** Colour fails at distance, in warm light and on camera. A spot pattern does not, which is why card rooms have coded value with edge spots for a century. Pattern first, colour second.

What we actually make

Clay composite chips with the weight in the blend, moulded edge spots and a recessed inlay — the traditional card-room build. Ceramic chips printed edge to edge, including the rolling rim, with the art dyed into the surface. Slug-weighted ABS chips sold honestly as what they are, for events and giveaways. Recessed-inlay and hot-stamp customisation. Tournament sets with a distinct edge-spot pattern per value and the counts derived from your player count. And keepsake chips for weddings, corporate gifts and venues, specified face-first because they are handled once and kept.

Every quote names the construction, the centre treatment and — where it applies — the recess depth, rather than leaving them to be inferred from the price.

What we do not make

Poker-chip golf ball markers. Struck or enamel metal coins. Playing cards and card decks. Dice. Each is its own product with its own specialists, and we will point you at one rather than sell you the wrong thing.

And we will not sell a wedding two hundred casino-grade chips for a favor that is handled twice, or a card room five thousand slug chips for a set that is played nightly. The spec has to match the use, in both directions.

The three tests you can run yourself

Stand a stack at arm’s length and look at it from the side. If you cannot tell the values apart without seeing a face, the set is coded wrong — or coded by colour alone, which is the same thing in bad light.

Run a thumbnail across the centre of a chip. If it catches an edge, the art is sitting proud of the surface, and it is already leaving.

Drop a chip flat on a bare wooden table. Material weight lands with a dull clack; a hidden slug rings brighter and higher. Two seconds, and you know what your last supplier actually sold you.

How we price

No dollar figures on this site. Price moves with the construction, the centre treatment, the number of values in the set and the quantity — and the biggest single lever is the construction, which is exactly the line most quotes leave unnamed. Send the details and a real quote comes back the same day, with a lowest-price guarantee if you are already holding a cheaper one. Ask that supplier where the weight in their chip comes from.

On branding

A wordmark or crest on the face, a monogram in foil, a pattern and name running around a ceramic rim, or a full-colour keepsake face with a message on the reverse.

For a playing set the discipline is remembering what the table actually sees: the side of a stack. A beautiful face over an unreadable edge is a set that photographs well on day one and plays badly for years.

Artwork, colours, spot patterns and counts are held on file for every set we make, so a top-up two years later joins the rack without a visible seam.
